Carla Gómez Pertusa began her journey in the world of piano under the guidance of her father, Jesús María Gómez, Professor of Piano at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory of Music in Alicante (CSMA), who has mentored her throughout her career.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a specialization in Piano Performance at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory in Alicante, studying under Professor Mª Dolores Costa. Thanks to an Erasmus mobility grant, she spent a year in Italy studying with pianists Paola Bruni and Gabriella Bassi at the Nino Rota Conservatory in Monopoli.

Carla continued her training by completing the Official Master’s Degree in Artistic Education in Music Performance and Research, offered by the CSMA with Javier Esplugues, which included a study period at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under pianist Elżbieta Karaś-Krasztel. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Music Pedagogy from the International University of La Rioja.

She has performed in the main concert halls of Alicante and its province, both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She has also given concerts in Valencia, Madrid, Murcia, Seville, Bari (Italy), Ghent (Belgium), and Warsaw (Poland), where she performed at the National Philharmonic.

Carla has attended advanced training courses with distinguished pianists such as Guillermo González, Judith Jáuregui, Constantín Sandú, Bálazs Fülei, Ángel Sanzo, Juan Pérez Floristán, Mamiko Suda, and Mariana Gurkova, among others. She has also received chamber music masterclasses from Robert Morawski, Franck-Immo Zichner, Aleksandra Swigut, Othmar Müller, and Rudolf Leopold.

Currently, she is a Piano Teacher and Repetiteur Pianist at the Regional Ministry of Education of the Valencian Government. She has been a faculty member at the Joaquín Rodrigo Higher Conservatory of Music of Valencia, the Óscar Esplá Higher Conservatory of Music of Alicante, the Guitarrista José Tomás Professional Conservatory of Music of Alicante, and the José Pérez Barceló Professional Conservatory of Music of Benidorm. She combines her teaching with an active and dynamic performing career.
