Maresía Dúo

Laura Vidal on cello and Carla Gómez on piano are two young musicians who have studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Alicante as well as at other institutions across Europe, including Bari, Warsaw, and Ghent. In addition to their distinguished careers as soloists and orchestral performers, they share a deep passion for chamber music, which led them to found this duo in 2019.

Together, they present concerts featuring a highly versatile chamber music repertoire, spanning from the 18th century to the present day. The aim of this project is to enjoy, share, and promote chamber music for cello and piano.

Musical Projects:

– Film Music, featuring some of the most iconic soundtracks by renowned composers such as John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Henry Mancini, among others.

– Music by F. Chopin, including two of his major works for cello and piano: Introduction and Brilliant Polonaise, Op. 3, and the Sonata, Op. 65. The program also includes a second part with arrangements for this ensemble of some of his most celebrated piano pieces: waltzes, nocturnes, and mazurkas.
